DFP is a one stop shop that specializes in injection molding of engineered plastics and rubber.

DFP Manufacturing Inc. was started in 2023 to produce Quality Injection Molded products. Steve and Chrisa Kastning, first founded Duck Foot Parts Inc., in 2017 following their farm innovation, the Duck Foot™ paddle tine. They had been contracting the services of injection mold manufacturers to produce their plastic agricultural part. While getting some steel work done to a mold, Steve met Shawn Curtis who has 20 years of experience in plastics manufacturing. He was interested in returning to this field and partnering with Steve and Chrisa to start their own manufacturing business.

Located in Saskatoon with an 11,000 square foot facility, DFP started molding it’s first parts for the Agriculture industry in May of 2023. Opening the doors to new clients soon after.

Shawn has spent 20 years managing plastic injection molding and blow molding, 8 years in the machining industry and has a background in design and production implementation. Building a long-lasting and trustworthy working relationship is key to long term success. Shawn's goal is to exceed your expectations and deliver high quality parts on time every time.
